Title Charitable Mobile App Development
Supervisor R. Soleymani
Description With transformation into a cashless society, the people do not carry change with them. This makes donations to street mendicants.
This project is involved in development of a mobile App allowing passerby to donate to the poor people on the street.
The software created should allow secure transfer of funds via card or mobile phone touch. It should also have a back office system allowing the keeping of accounts, security of the recipient earnings and an easy way to cash it.
The ethical rules of the use of the services should be mentioned and the users be cautioned about the misuse and the possibility of being barred from the access to the system in case of infraction. The system should include means to enforce the rules. The team should negotiate with the municipal authorities regarding the legal issues and adhere to the regulations in force. The teams should also seek support from governing authorities and other entities to make the app operational.
The platforms used (Android and IOS) should be studied and the implementations for both platforms be developed.
The basic low cost hardware should be selected, possibly, without the need for paid internet access. This can be done through storing the transaction and updating when a hotspot is available.
Student Requirement Students should be familiar with a high-level programming language, operating system and database. They should also know the basic mobile App developments tools.
