Linear System Lab - ELEC481

This teaching lab is designed for ELEC481 "Linear System", which is provided by ECE department. Right now this lab has been equipped with 4 ECP educational control systems:

All system components are made to the highest industrial standards. Lab information

  • Room: H805-3
  • Door-code: (for TAs only)
  • Four setups.
  • Seats: the room can occupy 4 groups, e.g. about 12 seats.

  • Operating system: Windows 7
  • Accounts: Group account only, no individual account supported.
  • User interface: ECP Dynamics Executive
  • Applications: Matlab 2009 with Simulink. WinSCP, etc

User Accounts

There are two types of user accounts in ELEC481 Lab:

  • Local account 'elec481'. Press ‘Ctrl+alt+Del', input workstation name + '\elec481', e.g "fri\elec481" and password, then you can login a workstation as a local user.
  • real-time user account: Group account, or individual account supported on ECE real-time domain. Press ‘Ctrl+alt+Del', input 'elec481' or your real-time ID and password, you can login any workstation in the lab.
