ELEC483 Lab is in H-832-2 and there are five Quanser Aero setups in this lab. Windows 10 with some real-time packages is installed on each development workstation. The lab is open to ELEC483 students only.

• Seats: the room can occupy 4 groups, e.g. about 8 seats.

System Information

• Operating system: Windows 10
• Accounts: Group account only, no individual account supported.
• Applications: Matlab 2017b with Simulink. WinSCP, etc

User Accounts

There are two types of user accounts in ELEC483 Lab:

• Local account 'elec483'. Press ‘Ctrl+alt+Del', input workstation name + '\elec483', e.g "foxy\elec483" and password, then you can login a workstation as a local user.
• real-time user account: Group account, or individual account supported on ECE real-time domain. Press ‘Ctrl+alt+Del', input 'elec483' or your real-time ID and password, you can login any workstation in the lab. More information about real-time account.

Sample code

There are some sample codes provided by system administrator. Once you login a workstation, you can find a folder named as 'ELEC483' on your desktop.
