| Description |
The group will study the fundamentals of computer aided design (CAD) tools used by circuit designers. A SPICE-like prototype whose framework will include linear resistors, capacitors, inductors, independent sources, dependent sources, and transistors (if time permits) will be designed. Both frequency- and time-domain options will be considered. The tool will be implemented in C or MATLAB, and user-interface will be developed in JAVA or Visual Basic. This Concordia SPICE program will be tested and demonstrated using circuit examples. |
