Title Parking Management System
Supervisor Dr. Yousef R. Shayan
Description This project involves the realization of a system to identify how many parking spots are occupied, and which parking spots are available in a large parking space. The system is fully electronic, it will have a detailed GUI on all parking locations and identification of which parking spots are occupied. Sensors and hardware will be designed including the software which will enable the system to function properly. USB technology and both digital and analog experience is a necessity. The project is extremely focused on many hours of work, you will be guided by an experienced design Engineer. You will gain industrial experience and substantial knowhow on a real life system. These systems are beginning to be exposed and are not yet part of everyday life, given the emphasis on green technology, you will be exposed to a project that will help the planet.
Requirement 2 students with knowledge in Visual Basic. One student with knowledge in Analog design. One student with knowledge in Digital design, including USB knowledge. One student with knowledge of microcontrollers, mainly Microchip devices.
