Title FitBand

Description This project requires students to create wristbands that will allow the user to monitor the motion of their arms when it comes to weight training. The students will be creating an android application that will help the user keep track of their progress and display their exercise information. The wristband will connect to the user’s phone via Bluetooth connection. The phone is connected to a server where data manipulation is handled and transmitted to the phone. Said data will be analyzed to provide useful statistics to the user.
Requirement Java and C programming, database design, sensor integration, wireless communication, statistics, PCB design, microcontrollers, android development, digital signal processing.
Tools Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, 3D Printer, Microcontroller Development Board, Breadboard, Soldering Iron, Reflow Oven, Hand tools, Sealer, MATLAB, Android Studio, Kicad, SEGGER Embedded Studio.
