Title Automated fruit picking robot

Description The goal of the project is to build an autonomous strawberry picking robot. This includes designing and building a four-wheeled chassis, a picking mechanism and its controller as well as the sub-system for identifying ripe strawberries, managing foliage obstruction and motion planning.
Requirement Knowledge about data structures and algorithms, computer vision, pattern recognition, deep learning for computer vision, object detection. Knowledge about control systems for robotics. Matlab/Simulink for simulation and image processing. Experience with MCU programming and low level programming. C/C++ and Python programming languages required. Multicore Programming (CUDA).
Tools Camera, distance measurement sensor, servo motors, DC motors, PC, embedded computing board, MCU, 3D printer, CAD software, simulation software, breadboard, wires, soldering equipment, electronic components, LEDs, battery, multimeter, PCB, building material (metal), power tools, nuts and bolts.
