Title Integrated Sensor platform (controller) A
Supervisor Reza Soleymani
Description The purpose of this project is to design and implement a controller for household or industrial devices. The controller should be able to implement at least 4 commands, be able to sense the environment and report its reading. It has to voice activated through Google Nest or Alexia. For example, it can be a thermostat similar to Google Nest Thermostat being able to measure the ambient temperature and set the temperature. Or it can be a motor controller capable of sensing the spped of up to 4 machines and turn them on and off or change their speed. The project involves the following Tasks: 1.Study of available products in the market. 2.Defining the functionality of the system to be implemented. This should include functional and non functional specifications, the advantage of the design over the available competitors. 3.Developing the test plan and test procedure. 4.Building the hardware. 5.Developing the software including an Android APP to control the hardware and enable the communication with Google or Alexa 6.Writing the reports. 7.Demonstration of the result.
