2nd Annual Conference on Durability and Disaster Mitigation in Wood Frame Housing Conference, November 6-8, 2000
The primary objective of this conference is to provide design professionals, builders, code officials, govern-ment officials, researchers, and educators with the latest information on issues related to housing durabili-ty and disaster mitigation. The conference will feature presentations and panel discussions on issues related to housing durability and disaster mitigation including case studies of product and systems durability perform-ance; national durability programs; wind, fire, flood, seismic, pests, mold, and rot issues; new products and technologies; construction quality assurance and imple-mentation; and builder perspectives on durability and disaster mitigation. The conference venue will also include a suppliers showcase, displays of products and services offered by sponsors of the conference, and "poster" presentations on various subjects related to durability and disaster mitigation.
