MECH 321's Announcements
The midterm will be on Friday February 16th during the class.
Additional Information
- course outline
- Lab Schedule
- Greek Alphabet
- Confirmation of Originality Form
- Hardness Value Converter
- Materials Properties Database You can download the MPDB software from this site for free.
- Webelements All you need to know about the chemical elements!
In this course you will understand the mechanical behavior of materials (and metals in particular). This will include the deformation behavior of metals and the ways that metals can fail. More importantly, you will study different methods that are used in the industry to make materials stronger. For more information, please read the course outline.
